Set the Component Number, Quantity and the Parent Inventory Number
<aside> 💡 Steps
- Component Number must be unique per Parent Inventory
- Parent Inventory must be in-warehouse
- Article numbers, Cost Center Codes, Standard and Custom fields can be set
- Article Category, Type and Attributes will flow down from the Article Catalog and cannot be changed on this screen
- Last IN date can be backdated by using the dropdown
- Order Number and Warehouse Location are tied to the Parent Inventory selected </aside>
Click the Exceptions tab to add Warehouse Exceptions
- Components will never have Driver Exceptions
- Click the Blue Plus button and select an area of the item and a damage
- Click the Disk button on the row to save the Exception
- To Delete a Warehouse Exception, select the row and click the Red X button
Click the Images tab

Browse the local device for the desired image

Click the Save button towards the top of the Components popup to create the Component record
- Click the Attachments tab
- Browse the local device for the desired file
- AllowedFileExtensions=".doc,.docx,.odt,.xls,.xlsx,.ods,.pdf,.txt,.ppt,.pptx,.odp,.zip"
Click the History tab
