Location Import π

Enter Data into the Location Import Template

π‘ Required Fields:
- Warehouse: Enter the Warehouse Code for which the Locations will be created
- LocationType: Floor, Rack, Vault, etc
- Tag: The full identifier for the Location, including the pre, post and number
- The Location Tag must be unique, and cannot already exist in the target Warehouse

π‘ Creating Movable Locations:
- BaseLocationTag is the target To Location Tag; this Location Tag must already exist in the Warehouse
- SlotConfiguration should be left must be empty or null
- Columns F-J are optional

- BaseLocationTag needs to be empty or null
- SlotConfiguration needs to be empty or null
- Columns F-J are optional

π‘ Creating Rack Locations:
- BaseLocationTag needs to be empty or null
- SlotConfiguration must be set up in the corresponding Warehouse, for more info see Slot Configurations
- Tag must be unique and include the Row, Bay, and Level

π‘ Columns F-J are optional:
- IsReserved: set this cell to TRUE to create a Reserved Warehouse Location
- SquareFootage: a Numerical Value representing the square footage of the Warehouse Location
- CubeFootage: a Numerical Value representing the cube footage of the Warehoue Location
- Offsite: set this cell to TRUE to denote the Warehouse Location as offsite
- Description: Enter a description of the Warehouse Location or its purpose

π‘ When finished, delete any unused rows from the bottom of the spreadsheet, and save it as an .XLSX file.

Import the Spreadsheet

Navigate to the Locations page, and click the Import button towards the top of the page

Click the Ellipses button to select the spreadsheet

The left column contains the HQ Warehouse fields that correspond with the spreadsheetβs columns on the right

Once verified, click the Import button in the top left corner of the popup box

π‘ The number of successfully imported locations will display; close the popup box when finished
Any errors that occurred will list in the Import Status section
