<aside> 💡 Vaults and Pallets are considered Child Locations because they must exist within a Parent Location. For instance a Pallet can be stored on a Rack Type Location or a Vault can exist on a Floor Type Location.

Create Child Locations: Vaults and Pallets 📖


Create a Single Child Location

  1. Click the Locations tab on the Global Pane

  2. Set the Company and Warehouse then click the New button towards the top of the page

  3. Set the Location Type to Pallet or Vault, the Parent Location, the Location Name and click the Save button

    <aside> 💡 The Location Tag is comprised of the Location Type Prefix (P for Pallet and V for Vault), the Pre value, Name value and the Post value

Create Multiple Child Locations

  1. To create more than one Child Location, Set the Create Multiple Locations checkbox to true
  2. Set the From and To range then click the Save button
