<aside> 💡 Setting a Customer to Inactive is the way to remove Customers that are not used from HQ Warehouse. Customers can be archived to remove them from the Active customer grid. These Customers can be found in the Inactive Customer grid along with all the history that has been associated with the Customer.

Close Open Work Orders
<aside> 💡 A Customer cannot have any open work orders. Navigate to the work order tab, and make sure all work orders are set to closed. No records should return if the filter at the top of the page is set to Open.

No Inventory
<aside> 💡 A Customer cannot have any in-warehouse Inventory. Ensure sure nothing shows in the Customer Inventory grid when filtering for 'In Warehouse'.

No Active Orders
<aside> 💡 Next, check the orders. There should be no active orders, or a weight associated. If an order exists, double click on the order to view the details.

<aside> 💡 Uncheck Download and Keep Active. Hit Save when finished.
</aside>
<aside> 💡 If there is a value in the Weight field, click the Edit Weight button.
</aside>
<aside> 💡 Set the Weight to 0, and select the current date. Then click Save on the Weight pop-up.

<aside> ✅ Click Save on the Orders screen

Deactivate Customer
<aside> 💡 The last step is to go to the Detail tab for the Customer. Make sure that Keep Active and Download to Device are unchecked, and click Save at the top of the page.

<aside> 💡 Once these steps are completed, the Customer will be archived.

<aside> 💡 To see the list of inactive Customers, navigate to the Customers grid and set the filter from Active to Inactive.
</aside>
<aside> 💡 Inactive Customers will display in italics with a gray highlight.
</aside>
